Cornish Handmade Studio Pottery Hi, My name is Paula Gray and I specialise in hand thrown studio porcelain domestic ware/tableware with crystalline & transparent glazes. All handmade in Cornwall. The beauty of the fine porcelain truely comes alive when thrown very thin as the body is very translucent and light can be clearly seen through the porcelain. Then nature does her work in the kiln where the unique combination of zinc and oxides combine to make crystal patterns in the design. I work from a open studio in an old granite stone cottage in the Lizard Village in Cornwall. I am creating on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Commissions are welcome for dinners ware, personalised gifts and house signs. All work is available for purchase from my pottery studio in the Lizard, Cornwall, from Cornwall Crafts Association galleries and various galleries around Cornwall. . I am is also a member of the 'Made In Cornwall' scheme and regularly attend craft fairs around Devon and Cornwall.
